Dear God,
My youngest daughter is having her surgery tonight. Please be with the surgeons, the doctors, and most importantly, be with her. I know she might be scared, so I ask that you give her courage in her vulnerability and help her body to heal once the surgery is done.

Dear God,
I talked to my oldest daughter after dinner. She told me she believes it was her fault for what happened to her sister. I told her what happened was an accident and she had no reason to be guilty, but I could tell she was still shaken. I gave her some words of encouragement to further help her, and I pray that as she lays her head on her pillow tonight, you help my words to sink into her mind so she can feel better.
I also pray for my son, who was no bystander to the problem but a helper to both of his sisters. Please help him to continue being the best brother he can be for them.
